An original production cel from the Marvel Studios animated television series X-Men (1992-1997). Featuring Jean Grey as Phoenix fighting Gladiator, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the episode The Phoenix Saga, Part III: The Cry of the Banshee (1994). Measuring 12.5"x10.5" overall, and with the image area measuring 9.5"x10", the cel is in very good condition with minimal line wear.
The artwork was published in the book "X-Men: the Art and Making of the Animated Series" and appears on page 157.
