An original production background from the Disney Studios animated Goofy short, "How To Fish" (1942). Featuring a swampy underwater landscape, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the image itself measuring 8"x10.5", the painting is in very good condition with minor discoloration and edge wear due to age and handling.
